Role Description The Assistant Branch Manager – Sales is a full-time, on-site role based at the Aakash center in Kota. This role is responsible for supporting overall branch sales operations, including driving admissions, implementing local sales strategies, and meeting enrollment and revenue targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling prospective students and families, managing leads, conducting follow-ups, and organizing seminars, events, and outreach activities with schools and coaching institutes. The Assistant Branch Manager – Sales collaborates with academic, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a smooth student experience from enquiry to enrollment, while maintaining accurate sales reports and MIS data. The role also involves supervising and mentoring branch sales staff, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to company processes and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or admission counseling, preferably in the education or services sector.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with students and parents and understand their requirements.
  • Competence in planning and executing local marketing activities, events, and outreach programs to drive lead generation and conversions.
  • Solid analytical and reporting skills, including comfort with MS Office tools and CRM/MIS systems for tracking leads and performance.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills in English and relevant local languages, with a professional and student-centric approach.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and guide a small sales team, manage targets, and work under timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or peak seasons, based on academic and admission cycles.
