Role Description The Architect role at Prakalpan Architects is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings and plans, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. Day-to-day tasks include site visits, design reviews, preparation of design presentations, and ensuring that projects meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves collaborating with the internal team to manage project timelines, resolve design and technical issues, and support the smooth execution of projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop creative and practical design solutions.
• Experience with Software Development and Integration related to architectural tools or workflows, such as BIM or CAD integration, is an advantage.
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and monitoring project progress.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility for professional registration as per local requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and willingness to take ownership of tasks in a dynamic studio environment.
