Your Opportunity

Join BeGig as an Application Security Engineer and help companies build secure, resilient applications. You’ll work with development teams to identify vulnerabilities early and embed security into every stage of the software lifecycle.


Role Overview

As an Application Security Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct static and dynamic code analysis (SAST/DAST) for vulnerabilities.
  • Perform threat modeling and security assessments.
  • Integrate security tools and checks into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Educate developers on secure coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with teams to design, test, and validate security measures.


Technical Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in application or cloud security.
  • Tools: Proficiency with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Veracode, or Checkmarx.
  • Frameworks: Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10, NIST, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Programming: Solid foundation in Python, Java, or JavaScript for code review.
  • Cloud: Experience securing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
