Role Description
The AMISP Engineer – Smart Metering (AMI/MDM) will be responsible for managing and maintaining Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management (MDM) systems. Daily activities include system implementation, configuration, and testing; troubleshooting system performance; integrating smart metering solutions with other platforms; and providing technical support to clients. The role also involves documenting processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Delhi.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management (MDM) systems
- Proficiency in system implementation, technical troubleshooting, and system performance optimization
- Experience with integration of smart metering solutions and familiarity with utility industry standards
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with proficiency in using monitoring and diagnostic tools
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Prior experience in energy management, smart grid technologies, or a related domain is an advantage
- Familiarity with energy data analytics, dashboard tools, and grid optimization strategies is a plus
