Job Description

The Air Treatment Product Manager position requires an individual who understands the fundamentals of fluid dynamics and refrigeration, and is familiar with rotating equipment. This position blends an understanding of compressed air station design with the nuance of of air treatment selection to meet customers' specific air quality requirements. This is a fast paced, application-focused position, where the individual has the opportunity to interact with both internal and external customers, as well as various vendors. The Selected Candidate Will

• Serve as primary point of contact for all technical sales and service support-related requests from internal teams, external sales groups, and customers.
• Regularly interact with equipment manufacturers to assist with troubleshooting and evaluation. The engineer will be tasked with fault codes analysis and creating immediate solutions to ensure maximum customer uptime.
• Document quality issues, and coordinate problem resolution with product manufacturers.
• Create content and provide training to Kaeser partners or external customers on portable compressor topics -- whether in person via training class, via phone or via other media (such as a webinar), or through technical papers.
• Visit customer sites and assist local support personnel to diagnose issues with equipment and solve problems.

The successful candidate's background will include:

The successful candidate's background will include:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar, equivalent experience in similar field.
• Working knowledge of HMI for industrial products.
• Working knowledge of engine operation.
• 2-5 years of rotating equipment, product management experience (required)
• Customer service experience, commercial or industrial field preferred.
• Goal-oriented focus, with motivation to grow long-term within the team
