AI Engineer – Manchester (Hybrid)

Hybrid: 2–3 days per week onsite

Salary: Flexible depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Evaluating, selecting, and implementing cutting‑edge AI technologies to solve complex business challenges.
Adopting a “fail fast, learn faster” approach to design, develop, deploy, and iterate on AI models and proofs‑of‑concept.
Developing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining end‑to‑end AI solutions.
Enabling business teams to use Gemini Enterprise and Google Cloud Platform effectively.
Working closely with IT and business stakeholders to integrate AI models into real operational workflows.
Staying at the forefront of AI research and translating emerging techniques into real‑world insurance applications.
Championing AI‑assisted coding tools to improve productivity and accelerate delivery timelines.
Working with large, complex datasets to uncover opportunities and prepare data for training and validation.

Who We’re Looking For

PhD or Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related discipline.
Proven experience developing AI, LLM, and Machine Learning solutions.
Someone who actively keeps their AI knowledge sharp and up to date.
Creative thinker and confident problem-solver.
Strong discovery, analysis, and specification skills.
Collaborative team player.
Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Insurance sector experience is a plus, but not essential.
