Semicon Gurukul is an industry-ready VLSI and semiconductor training academy based in Bengaluru, India, focused on preparing engineers for real-world chip design. The academy offers end-to-end exposure to the complete chip design flow, from RTL to GDSII, through daily hands-on EDA labs, production-style projects, and structured design reviews. Learners work on a fully licensed Cadence EDA toolchain with 24×7 cloud lab access and receive dedicated placement support with access to numerous hiring firms. Programs cover front-end and back-end VLSI, system modeling, and advanced architecture topics such as RISC-V and GPU design, with training led by working industry engineers. Semicon Gurukul welcomes B.Tech and M.Tech students and graduates from ECE, CSE, and related electronics disciplines, starting from fundamentals without requiring prior VLSI experience.
Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position. The Administrative Executive will manage day-to-day operations across student relations, scheduling, brand building, and HR at Semicon Gurukul. Responsibilities include handling student enquiry calls, follow-ups, lead tracking, and counselling for prospective students; coordinating class schedules, educator meetings, batch calendars, and internal assessments; managing and growing the institute's presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube through consistent posting and community engagement; preparing course brochures, student forms, and marketing collateral, and coordinating merchandise design and orders; and establishing HR processes, drafting internal policies, and managing administrative documentation. The role requires strong initiative, the ability to multitask across functions, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in administration, operations, or a similar multi-functional role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
- Prior exposure to education, EdTech, or a startup environment is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Business Administration, Commerce, or Mass Communication preferred
