Accountant

This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Accountant will manage the complete financial lifecycle of the organization, perform regular bookkeeping, oversee tax compliance, and prepare accurate financial reports. Responsibilities include monitoring budgets, ensuring precise financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making. The Accountant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to financial regulations and organizational goals.

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation
• Knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory standards relevant to financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software, payroll systems, and spreadsheet applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
• Prior experience in accounting roles, especially in technology or blockchain sectors, is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
