Role Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Full Stack Developer to join our Global IT Development Team at Ceres’ Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bangalore.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale web and desktop applications supporting Ceres’ operations across the United States, Caribbean, Pacific, and New Zealand. You will work across both front-end and back-end layers to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Success in this role will mean building robust, user-friendly applications that power mission-critical operational workflows and improve overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Application Design & Development

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Microsoft technologies including .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and SQL Server.
Build responsive and intuitive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.

Backend, APIs & Performance

Develop secure, high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and database solutions.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to internal standards and industry best practices.
Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Collaboration & Delivery

Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Support application deployment, monitoring, and maintenance across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Create and maintain system design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.
Contribute to evaluating and adopting new tools and technologies to improve development efficiency and scalability.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

5-8 years of experience in full-stack development using Microsoft technologies.

Technical Skills

Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, and Azure.
Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, database design, and the software development lifecycle.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-native application development and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
Exposure to microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of GIS, disaster recovery, or field operations systems is an advantage.
