Job Title: Head of GTM Software & Engineering (GCC)

Location: India (Hybrid)

Overview

We are setting up a new Global Capability Center (GCC) and are looking for a senior technology leader to head our GTM‑facing software, QA, and AI engineering teams in India. This role will act as the second‑in‑command for the GCC, owning the technology roadmap execution and building high‑performing teams that support global product and go‑to‑market objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and scale cross‑functional software, QA, and AI/ML engineering teams supporting global GTM and product initiatives.
• Reports to India GCC center head.
• Translate global technology roadmap and business priorities into executable plans for the India GCC, with clear milestones and outcomes.
• Act as deputy to the GCC head, taking ownership of day‑to‑day technology operations and people leadership for the India entity.
• Drive end‑to‑end delivery of GTM platforms and tools (sales productivity, customer experience, analytics, integrations, internal apps).
• Establish strong engineering, quality, and release practices (SDLC, test automation, CI/CD, observability).
• Partner closely with global Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to understand GTM needs and convert them into scalable technology solutions.
• Build and mentor a high‑performance engineering culture focused on accountability, learning, and collaboration.
• Define and track KPIs for delivery, quality, and platform reliability across software, QA, and AI teams.
• Ensure governance, security, and compliance standards are followed across all engineering initiatives in the GCC.
• Represent the India technology organization in global forums, strategy reviews, and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles heading multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Proven experience leading GCC / captive centers / large offshore engineering teams is highly preferred.
• Strong background in building and managing software development and QA functions; exposure to AI/ML or data engineering teams is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to act as second‑in‑command or site/engineering head with full people and delivery responsibility.
• Hands‑on experience with modern cloud, microservices, DevOps, and test automation practices.
• Excellent people leadership skills: hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and comfort working with global CXO‑level and GTM leaders.
• Clear, confident communicator with the ability to align diverse teams around a common roadmap.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
