Role Overview (Only for freshers 0-1 years)

This is not a typical counselling role.

At YunoLearning, Academic Counsellors own the entire learner journey—from first interaction to enrollment to course completion and satisfaction.

You will act as a trusted advisor, sales consultant, and success partner, ensuring learners not only join but also succeed.


Key Responsibilities


1. Lead Conversion (Sales)

  • Connect with inbound leads via calls and WhatsApp
  • Understand learner goals and recommend the right course
  • Convert demo attendees into paid enrollments
  • Achieve revenue and conversion targets

2. Student Counselling (Pre-Sales)

  • Diagnose learner needs (fluency level, career goals, confidence gaps)
  • Guide learners on the best learning path
  • Handle objections with empathy and clarity

3. Customer Success (Post-Sales Ownership)

  • Onboard learners after enrollment
  • Ensure they attend classes and stay engaged
  • Track learner progress and proactively intervene if drop-offs happen
  • Drive completion and outcomes (confidence, speaking ability, etc.)

4. Support & Issue Resolution

  • Act as the first point of contact for student queries/issues
  • Resolve concerns related to scheduling, batches, instructors, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for quick resolution
  • Ensure high learner satisfaction (NPS/CSAT)

5. Funnel & Relationship Management

  • Maintain consistent follow-ups across the lifecycle
  • Build long-term relationships with learners
  • Drive referrals, testimonials, and repeat enrollments


Key Requirements

  • 0-1 years experience in counselling, sales, customer success, or support
  • Strong communication skills (English + Hindi)
  • Ability to balance sales targets + student satisfaction
  • Comfortable with WhatsApp, calling, and CRM tools
  • High ownership mindset (you own the learner, not just the sale)


Good to Have

  • Experience in edtech or live learning
  • Experience managing post-sales engagement or retention
  • Familiarity with conversion + retention metrics


Compensation

  • Fixed monthly (INR 20,000) + High Performance Incentives (linked to revenue + retention)
