Position Summary

To provide leadership in the respective zone to achieve the organizational objectives to grow sales and market share whilst maintaining high company profile in the marketplace for FMC. Build platform for sustainable business growth by guiding Regional Manager & Territory Manager in identification of new crops opportunities, new markets, new products segments, strengthening the channel and supporting Zone in working out short term and long-term business strategy.


Location: Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh


The role: ( Responsibilities)

  • Manage Sales and Liquidation growth for the Zone and in line with company objectives.
  • Responsible for Zonal Profitability.
  • Development and achievement of annual operating plan and budgets, in terms of revenue and market share.
  • Analyse market and competitive situations and develop plans to deliver profitable business as per Long Range Plan.
  • Responsible for Managing team and the realization of the sales plan and forecast accuracy highlighting key actions and strategies to achieve.
  • Control and manage all expenses according to the Sales team annual budget.
  • Provide leadership and on-site coaching to direct reports to ensure the development of policies, procedures and standards to support those procedures.
  • Hire staff, appraise performance, direct training and development, and takes disciplinary actions.

The candidate: (requirements)

  • BSc/ MSC in Agriculture. MBA in Marketing will be highly preferred.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in sales management in agrochemical industry of which 10 years should be in leadership position.
  • Should have successful track record of sales growth, financial performance and individual/ team development.
  • Should have strong leadership experiences of massive groups of sales across the North India.
  • Should have proven past experience in developing strong and long-lasting relationships with customers, including growers and distributors.
  • Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills, proficient in oral and written English
  • Ability to motivate and inspire the sales force and build high performance culture
  • Good analytical ability

  • Good problem-solving ability, influencing people and negotiating
