MALOO INDUSTRIES (I) PRIVATE LIMITED

Maharashtra Full-Time 4–8 yrs exp Posted 12 hours ago  · Apply by Sep 14, 2026
Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Yarn Sales & Trading Executive to drive our textile business. This is a dual-function role: you will be responsible for selling our core production range (20s to 32s carded yarn) while actively engaging in B2B yarn trading (purchasing from mills/open market and selling to your network for a margin). The ideal candidate must come with an established, ready-to-use network of weavers, knitters, indenting agents, and brokers across major Indian textile hubs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct Sales

  • Drive volume sales of our cotton carded yarn to powerloom weavers, knitwear manufacturers, and home textile producers across India (focusing on hubs like Tirupur, Bhiwandi, Ichalkaranji, Panipat, and Ahmedabad).
  • Negotiate and close bulk orders, ensuring healthy profit margins and timely payment cycles.
  • Appoint and manage regional yarn brokers and indenting agents to expand market penetration.

2. Yarn Trading & Procurement (Buy & Sell)

  • Identify arbitrage opportunities in the yarn market.
  • Procure various counts and blends of yarn at competitive prices from partner mills and the open market.
  • Leverage your existing network of buyers to quickly liquidate traded yarn at a profit.
  • Manage end-to-end trading operations, including rate negotiation, quality approval, dispatch coordination, and payment realization.

3. Network & Relationship Management

  • Bring Your Own Network: Utilize your pre-existing relationships with textile buyers, corporate procurement heads, and regional brokers from Day 1 to generate immediate revenue.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure recurring bulk orders.
  • Act as a bridge between the buyers and the company, handling any quality or delivery grievances smoothly.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Track daily fluctuations in cotton and yarn prices (ICE cotton futures, MCX, local mandi rates) to advise management on production pricing and trading strategies.
  • Provide regular feedback on competitor pricing, market demand, and new product requirements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience: 5 to 10+ years of proven, hardcore B2B sales and trading experience in the Indian yarn/textile industry.
  • Network: Must have a strong, active database of direct buyers, weavers, knitters, and reliable brokers. (Candidates without an existing network will not be considered).
  • Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of 20s–32s carded yarn quality parameters (CSP, TPI, imperfections) and its applications in denim, terry towels, sheeting, and hosiery.
  • Skills: Exceptional negotiation, quick math for on-the-spot trading margins, and strong risk assessment skills regarding buyer creditworthiness.
  • Language: Fluency in Hindi and English. Knowledge of regional languages (Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati) is a strong advantage.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively to textile hubs for client meetings and market development.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary with a highly lucrative, performance-driven incentive/commission structure based on trading margins and sales volume.
  • An entrepreneurial environment where you have the autonomy to make trading decisions.
