Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Welder role located in Chandigarh. The Welder will perform day-to-day fabrication tasks, including cutting, fitting, and welding metal components to produce slotted angles, frames, and other structures according to drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include setting up welding equipment, selecting appropriate materials and welding methods, inspecting welds for quality and safety, and performing basic finishing work such as grinding and cleaning. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining tools and machinery, collaborating with supervisors and fabricators, and completing work orders within defined timelines.
Qualifications

• Strong welding skills, including Welding and Arc Welding, with the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in specialized welding techniques such as TIG Welding and MIG Welding for different fabrication requirements.
• Knowledge of Materials used in metal fabrication, including properties, handling, and appropriate applications.
• Relevant technical training or certification in welding or metal fabrication; vocational diploma or trade school qualification preferred.
• Experience in industrial or structural fabrication environments, with a focus on safety, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work on-site in Chandigarh, follow safety standards, lift and handle materials, and collaborate effectively with team members.
