Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, validate, and record vessel performance data (noon reports, sensor data, weather observations, etc.).
  • Monitor and document fuel consumption, speed performance, and weather-related deviations using proprietary applications
  • Prepare voyage summaries, post-voyage analyses, and client-specific reports as required.
  • Contribute data and observations to internal performance databases and dashboards.

Customer Service & Client Support

  • Provide top-tier customer service by ensuring timely responses, accurate information, and professional handling of client queries.
  • Support client onboarding and usage of routing dashboards, software tools, and reporting systems when needed.
  • Identify recurring client issues or requests and communicate them to supervisors for process or product improvement.
  • Help demonstrate the value of routing services through examples of fuel savings, operational efficiencies, and safety improvements.

Safety, Compliance & Risk Awareness

  • Ensure all routing advice adheres to safety standards, regulatory constraints, and company procedures.
  • Monitor and highlight operational risks such as adverse weather, piracy zones, ice limits, or restricted navigation areas.
  • Document decisions and communications for audit readiness and potential commercial claim scenarios.
  • Stay updated on routing-related regulations, environmental requirements, and best practices.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with team members across global offices to support unified service delivery.
  • Provide operational feedback to supervisors and software teams regarding system functionality or enhancement opportunities.
  • Participate in internal training sessions on weather interpretation, ship-shore communication, and routing methodologies.
  • Contribute ideas for improving workflow efficiency, reporting quality, and customer experience.
