Job Description

QA Automation Engineer

(7-9 years’ experience)

  • Strong experience testing Java-based backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.
  • Expertise using API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, Swagger, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of OAuth2/JWT authentication and secure API validation.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for validating data in PostgreSQL/MySQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud testing workflows on AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, EKS).
  • Ability to validate containerized applications running on Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Strong experience in automation testing and maintaining automated test suites.
  • Solid experience performing regression testing to ensure stability across releases.
  • Experience working within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automated testing.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress) is a plus.
  • Strong defect reporting, root cause analysis, and collaboration with developers.
  • Nice-to-have exposure to cloud warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Clickhouse, etc.) and testing integrations involving AI/ML APIs.
