Job Description

Turbolab Technologies is hiring a skilled Video Editor with a minimum of 1 year of experience to support our digital content initiatives. The role involves editing, optimizing, and delivering high-quality videos aligned with brand standards and platform requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos suitable for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
Trim clips, balance audio levels, and ensure smooth transitions between scenes
Add graphics, text overlays, animations, captions, and other visual elements as needed
Format videos according to platform specifications (aspect ratio, resolution, file size) for optimal quality
Optimize videos for engagement using effective intros, outros, captions, and calls-to-action (CTAs)
Incorporate titles, descriptions, and keywords to support SEO performance
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and meet release deadlines
Coordinate with the Digital Content Creator for scheduling, draft reviews, and feedback implementation
Review edits collaboratively to ensure alignment with narrative, tone, and visual style
Make revisions based on feedback to meet brand standards and objectives
Repurpose long-form videos into short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok)
Ensure content stays updated with current trends while maintaining visual appeal
Perform final quality checks for resolution, sound clarity, visual consistency, captions, and graphics accuracy

Requirements

Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Audition
Ability to use Photoshop or Canva to create thumbnails, overlays, and graphic elements
Strong skills in color correction, audio mixing, and visual effects
Solid understanding of video formats, compression, and platform-specific optimization
Ability to manage timelines effectively and handle multiple projects concurrently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality output
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with creators and stakeholders
