About The Job

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team and support the design and development of mechanical systems and products. The role involves creating engineering designs, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Execute project-specific engineering designs based on technical specifications and industry standards.
Prepare technical documentation, including GA drawings, BoMs, manufacturing documentation, and as-built documentation.
Perform mechanical and structural calculations to validate engineering designs.
Modify and improve existing standard products to meet project requirements.
Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and delivery.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical input on engineering solutions.
Support new product development and design improvements.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and internal engineering guidelines.
Assist in resolving manufacturing and technical issues during project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
5–10 years of experience in mechanical design
Strong experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Experience with mechanical/structural calculations
Good understanding of manufacturing processes such as fabrication and welding

Key Skills

Strong mechanical design aptitude
CAD modelling and drafting expertise

Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Strong communication and collaboration
