We are an early-stage Consumer AI startup looking for a creative and highly driven Video Editor (Tamil) to join our content and marketing team.

You'll be responsible for editing engaging short-form videos, high-converting advertisements, and social media content across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Meta Ads. You'll work closely with script writers, designers, and the marketing team to transform ideas into visually compelling content that captures attention and drives results.

This role is ideal for someone who understands social media trends, has a strong sense of storytelling and pacing, and can create high-quality videos that resonate with Tamil-speaking audiences.

• Edit engaging short-form videos (15–60 seconds) for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Edit performance marketing creatives and advertisements designed to maximize engagement and conversions.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and animations to enhance video quality.
• Create Tamil-language content optimized for digital audiences.
• Collaborate with script writers, graphic designers, and the marketing team to bring creative concepts to life.
• Optimize videos for different platforms, aspect ratios, and audience preferences.
• Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
• Create multiple video variations for A/B testing and campaign optimization.
• Stay updated with the latest editing trends, viral content formats, and platform best practices.
• Organize project files and maintain efficient editing workflows.
• Deliver high-quality videos while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.

• 2+ years of experience in video editing for social media, digital advertising, or content creation.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
• Fluency in Tamil (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
• Experience creating short-form content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Meta Ads.
• Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and visual communication.
• Ability to add captions, motion graphics, and engaging visual effects.
• Familiarity with current social media trends and viral content formats.
• Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Film, Animation, Multimedia, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
