This role is for editors who understand that editing is storytelling.

Role Overview

We are looking for Video Editors who can edit short-form and brand-led content for social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. You may have 2+ years of experience or be a fresher with strong editing sense and taste.

What matters most is your sense of rhythm, pacing, hooks, and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Output

• Edit reels, shorts, and short-form videos for social media
• Edit brand videos, campaigns, and narrative-led content
• Maintain pacing, energy, and storytelling flow
• Deliver platform-optimised outputs (aspect ratios, durations, formats)

Content & Storytelling

• Understand the script or content idea before editing
• Suggest visual treatments, transitions, and pacing improvements
• Ensure the edit supports the narrative, not distracts from it

Collaboration

• Work closely with content writers and account managers
• Implement feedback quickly and accurately
• Maintain consistency across brand styles and formats

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Skills

• 0–2+ years of video editing experience
• (Freshers with strong portfolios are welcome)
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent
• Good understanding of social media video formats and trends
• Ability to edit fast without compromising quality
• Basic motion graphics and text animation skills are a plus

Mindset

• Strong content sense and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and experiment with formats
• Comfortable with feedback and revisions
• Passion for storytelling, visuals, and social content

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience editing reels or creator-style content
• Ability to turn raw footage into engaging narratives
• Understanding of hooks, retention, and watch-time
• A strong showreel or portfolio (very important)
