Job Summary
We are urgently seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead all human resource functions at our plant. The ideal candidate will be a Master's degree holder with proven expertise in factory HR operations, labour law compliance, recruitment (both online and offline platforms), HR policy creation, performance management, and building a motivated and happy workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
● Manage end-to-end hiring for all roles — plant staff, supervisors, and corporate positions
● Post and manage job listings on online platforms (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) and offline channels (walk-ins, job fairs, local networks)
● Source and manage labour contractors; verify documentation and ensure contractor compliance
● Build a talent pipeline for critical positions and ensure timely onboarding
HR Policy & Compliance
● Design, draft, and implement comprehensive HR policies aligned with company goals and Indian labour laws
● Ensure full compliance with PF (Provident Fund), ESIC (Employee State Insurance), Minimum Wages Act, Contract Labour Act, Factories Act, and other applicable legislation
● Maintain statutory registers, returns, and documentation for inspections and audits
● Handle disciplinary procedures, show-cause notices, and domestic enquiries
Performance Management
● Establish and monitor KRA/KPI frameworks for all departments
● Conduct performance appraisal cycles, coordinate with department heads, and manage PIP processes
● Provide data-driven HR insights and reports to management using ERP and Excel
Employee Relations & Engagement
● Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and relations proactively to ensure a positive workplace
● Design and drive employee engagement and motivation initiatives — events, recognition programs, and welfare activities
● Foster a happy, inclusive, and productive work environment across all levels
● Act as a bridge between management and plant workers to maintain harmony and trust
Training & Development
● Identify training needs and organise learning programs for plant workers, supervisors, and staff
● Coordinate induction programs for all new joiners
● Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness of programs
HR Operations & Systems
● Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HR data in ERP systems
● Prepare payroll inputs, salary statements, and manage attendance and leave records
● Create MIS reports, dashboards, and HR analytics using Advanced MS Excel
Candidate Requirements
Education
● Master's Degree in HR / MBA (HR) / MSW / MHRM from a recognised university (mandatory)
Experience
● 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing, factory, or FMCG environment
● Hands-on experience managing factory workers, blue-collar labour, and white-collar staff
● Prior experience with labour contractors and contractor workforce management
Technical Skills
● Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP HCM, Oracle HR, or similar) — mandatory
● Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, MIS reports) — mandatory
● Experience using online hiring platforms: Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, Shine, etc.
Legal & Compliance Knowledge
● In-depth knowledge of PF, ESIC, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour Act, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Maternity Benefit Act, and Gratuity Act
● Experience handling statutory audits, compliance inspections, and government liaison
Soft Skills
● Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills in Hindi and English
● Ability to motivate employees and maintain a positive, happy work culture
● High integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive HR matters professionally
● Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
