Role Description:

This is a full-time, remote role located in the Mani Casadona, New Town for a Video Editor at Iblix Digital. The Video Editor will be responsible for video editing, colour grading, motion graphics, and graphics tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications:

Video Colour Grading, Motion Graphics, and Graphics capabilities

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects is a must.

Experience in creating high-quality video content for digital platforms (specially short form content)

Ability to collaborate with a creative team and adhere to project timelines

Strong attention to detail and creative thinking

SFX and sound design knowledge

Experience in Video Production is a plus.

Daily Responsibilities of a Video Editor:

Review and edit raw video footage to create high-quality final videos.

Trim, arrange, and organize video clips to create a clear and engaging story.

Apply transitions, visual effects, and animations to make videos more attractive.

Add background music, sound effects, and adjust audio levels for better quality.

Improve video quality by adjusting colours, brightness, and contrast.

Include captions, titles, and subtitles for better audience understanding and engagement.

Ensure the video matches the brand style, tone, and visual identity.

Coordinate with content creators, social media managers, and designers for video requirements.

Make necessary edits based on feedback from clients or team members.

Export videos in the required formats and sizes for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or ads.

Organize video files, footage, and project folders properly

Complete editing tasks on time while maintaining quality.
