Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Academic Counselor based in Visakhapatnam Rural. The Academic Counselor will provide guidance to students, assisting them in identifying suitable courses and career paths. Daily responsibilities include conducting student counseling sessions, offering academic advice, designing individualized education plans, and addressing any concerns or queries from students and parents. Additionally, the counselor will play a key role in promoting Teks Academy’s training programs and providing support throughout the admission and enrollment process.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Academic Advising and Education-related guidance
• Ability to build rapport with students and assist in decision-making
• Problem-solving abilities and a patient, empathetic approach
• Relevant educational background in Counseling, Psychology, or Education
• Knowledge of IT and software training programs is a plus
• Passion for helping students achieve their career goals
