Vice President Product Marketing
OrangeShark
Job Description
Location: Hyderabad (Onsite)
Position: VP Marketing
Role:
We are looking for a VP Marketing to build the marketing engine from the ground up.
This is a hands-on marketing leadership role—not a large-company brand management role. The VP Marketing will own positioning, demand generation, content, campaigns, website conversion, events, sales enablement, and early category creation.
The role requires someone who can think strategically, write sharply, use AI fluently, execute fast, and work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the founders to turn early growth into a scalable marketing motion.
Key Mandate:
- Build the marketing engine across positioning, messaging, demand generation, content, campaigns, website conversion, events, and sales enablement.
- Turn the product narrative into clear, sharp, buyer-relevant messaging for enterprise decision-makers.
- Create repeatable GTM campaigns around high-value use cases such as market intelligence, PE diligence, procurement intelligence, competitive intelligence, consulting research, and enterprise research automation.
- Own the website, landing pages, content journeys, conversion funnels, lead magnets, webinars, case studies, and sales collateral needed to support pipeline creation.
- Work closely with Sales to improve lead quality, demo conversion, objection handling, and account-specific marketing support.
- Build an AI-first marketing operating system using AI to accelerate research, content creation, campaign testing, personalization, competitive tracking, and performance analysis.
- Establish the platform as a credible, differentiated AI + human expert solution for decision-grade market research.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a hands-on marketing builder with strong positioning, demand generation, content, and AI fluency.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably across SaaS, AI, data, analytics, market research, consulting, or enterprise workflow solutions.
- Strong experience in demand generation, content-led growth, product marketing, website conversion, and sales enablement.
- Ability to simplify complex products into sharp messaging, campaigns, and buyer-facing narratives.
- Strong AI fluency with daily comfort using AI tools to research, write, analyze, personalize, test, and scale marketing output.
- Experience working closely with sales teams to convert positioning and campaigns into qualified pipeline.
- Comfort building from ambiguity in an early-stage, new product, or scale-up environment.
- Strong ownership, operating discipline, and the ability to build playbooks rather than simply follow them.
Who This Role Is Not For
This role is not for someone who only wants to manage agencies, run brand campaigns, or operate with a large team and budget. We need a hands-on marketing leader who can create strategy, write, execute, measure, and iterate quickly.
This is also not for someone who treats AI as a side tool. We are an AI-first company, and marketing must be AI-first in how it thinks, creates, tests, and scales.
