Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Doctor, based in Ahmedabad. The Veterinary Doctor will be responsible for diagnosing and treating health problems in animals, performing surgical interventions, administering vaccinations, and prescribing medications. The role involves maintaining detailed medical records, advising animal owners on treatment plans and preventative care, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in veterinary practice.

Qualifications

• Expertise in diagnosing and treating animal illnesses, conducting surgeries, and administering treatments
• Strong skills in preventive healthcare, vaccinations, and advising animal owners on pet care and welfare
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate medical records and handling medical equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate animal owners and coordinate with team members
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle emergencies with composure
• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent qualification
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the location of employment
• Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is an added advantage
