We are seeking a Verification Engineer – Embedded C++ Software Product Tester to work with cutting‑edge technologies in the telecommunication, embedded, and transportation industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying complex, safety‑critical embedded systems, defining test strategies, developing test automation, and collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Key tasks:

• Be part of our highly skilled Embedded and Software Verification team
• Work with state-of-the-art technologies in the telecom and embedded domain, including 4G/5G, Wi‑Fi, Core/Radio systems, and multi‑component embedded platforms
• Define the most effective test coverage strategy to achieve near‑100% verification completeness
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and HW+SW test environments
• Perform embedded software testing and verification (manual & automated)
• Drive regression and feature test planning
• Execute and analyze end‑to‑end test scenarios across Core, Radio, 4G/5G, and Wi‑Fi
• Build and maintain Python‑based test automation frameworks
• Support customer case investigation and resolution
• Conduct protocol and networking validation (TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP)
• Set up and manage complex test LAN environments
• Use debugging and analysis tools (GDB, Wireshark, logic analyzers)
• Create and update verification documentation (verification plans, test reports, traceability)

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in embedded systems testing (C++ on RTOS / custom hardware)
• Hands‑on experience with network and protocol validation
• Good understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, packet inspection
• Telecom knowledge: 4G/5G Core (Radio knowledge is an advantage)
• Experience with test automation (Python, Bash)
• Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Skilled in debugging tools such as GDB and Wireshark
• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Hungarian

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, experience

• Understanding of Wi‑Fi technologies
• ISTQB certification preferred (any level)
• Experience with Google Test, CppUnit, Robot Framework
• Familiarity with distributed, multi‑component embedded systems
• Analytical mindset; ability to identify edge‑case defects
• Quality‑driven approach and precise documentation habits
