Role Description This is a full-time Vehicle Loan Executive Trainee role based in Kollam, structured as a hybrid position with a mix of on-site responsibilities and some work-from-home flexibility. The trainee will support the end-to-end vehicle loan process, including customer interaction, preliminary eligibility checks, document collection, and coordination with credit teams for loan approval. Day-to-day activities include explaining loan products and terms, assisting customers with application forms, maintaining accurate records in the loan management system, and ensuring timely follow-up on pending cases. The role also involves conducting basic market and competitor research, supporting field visits when required, and collaborating with branch staff to achieve disbursement and portfolio quality targets, while adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
  • Basic knowledge of retail lending or banking operations, especially vehicle loans or related financial products, is an advantage.
  • Comfort with numerical data, documentation, and use of digital tools or loan management systems.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage time effectively, and coordinate with branch and field teams.
  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical, compliant practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; fresh graduates or early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages used in Kollam; willingness to travel locally as required.
