UAV Field Test Engineer

NxtQube AeroGravity Pvt. Ltd. is building next-gen UAV platforms for industrial, mining, solar, mapping, surveying, and defense applications — and we're looking for a hands-on Field Test Engineer to help us get them flight-ready in the real world.

What you'll do:

• Plan and execute drone missions — field trials, acceptance tests, validation flights
• Fly multirotor and VTOL UAVs (manual + autonomous ops)
• Configure, tune, and troubleshoot PX4 and ArduPilot systems — failsafes, flight modes, safety parameters
• Flash firmware across flight controllers, GPS/RTK modules, telemetry radios, companion computers, and custom hardware
• Perform PID tuning, autotune, stabilization & loiter mode tuning
• Debug flight controllers, ESCs, motors, and GPS/RTK systems
• Analyze PX4/ArduPilot flight logs and drive root cause analysis on field failures
• Work directly with our engineering team to turn field feedback into product improvements

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years in drone operations, UAV/flight testing, drone integration, or field engineering
• Deep hands-on experience with PX4 and ArduPilot flight stacks
• Strong flight log analysis and hardware debugging skills
• Comfortable working independently in field conditions
• Strong communicator — able to translate field issues into clear technical reports

Nice to have:

• DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate
• MAVLink ecosystem experience
• Mapping & surveying workflow exposure

Travel: High (50%) — customer sites, mining areas, solar farms, defense trial grounds, and deployment locations across India.
