Job Description
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Technology (B.Tech)
AND one of the following:
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
MBA in Hospitality & Tourism
Post Graduate degree in Tourism
Experience Requirements
Minimum 12 years of overall professional experience in consultancy services or project execution for Central/State Government agencies or PSUs.
At least 8 years of experience in tourism-related projects.
Proven record of managing minimum 3 large projects (each of at least 12 months duration) with State/Central Government.
Must have handled at least one large-scale tourism project.
Experience in tourism advisory, research, and trend analysis preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Keep the authority regularly apprised of project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Tourism Advisory: Provide expert guidance on tourism development, policy, and strategy.
Research & Analysis: Undertake studies on tourism trends, demand forecasting, and sectoral analysis.
Team Leadership: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery and alignment with government objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government departments, PSUs, and private partners to ensure smooth execution.
Reporting: Prepare structured reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior authorities.
