Job Description

We're hiring for one our clients based out of Bangalore. They are India’s first Active-Ageing & Senior Wellbeing company that helps adults aged 55+ live healthier, happier, safer, and more connected lives. They are backed by General Catalyst and Gruhas by Nikhil Kamath (Founder of Zerodha). Raised $20M in seed funding.

Looking for a Mobile App Tester who can test our consumer application using automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile apps (iOS & Android).

• Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.

• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing tailored to the 50+ demographic.

• Automate testing of REST APIs, sockets, and server-sent events to validate backend communication.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to uphold Marzi’s promise of effortless digital experiences.

• Identify, document, and resolve defects with precision, ensuring high-quality delivery across all app updates.

• Continuously improve test coverage and advocate for best practices in mobile QA automation.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in mobile QA with strong expertise in automation.

• Hands-on proficiency with Appium, Selenium, Espresso, XCUI, TestNG/JUnit.

• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Strong understanding of mobile platforms, APIs, debugging tools, and HTTP status codes.

• Familiarity with cloud-based mobile testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Sensitivity to user experience design and accessibility, especially for senior-friendly applications.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
