Test Automation Specialist

Mandatory (Primary) Skills:

Java / Selenium / SQL / API Testing / GIT / API /JIRA tools.

We are looking for an experienced Java Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, QA team, and business analysts to ensure test coverage.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Maven).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track them using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of experience in test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks (TestNG/JUnit).
• Experience with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo).
• Familiarity with API testing (RestAssured or similar).
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
• Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
