Role Description
A Territory Sales Manager (TSM) in an EdTech company with at least 4+ years of experience in the EdTech industry typically handles regional sales growth, partnerships with schools/colleges, and team management. Hereβs a quick overview π
Key Responsibilities- Territory Management
- Manage sales operations within an assigned region or territory.
- Identify new markets, schools, institutes, or coaching centers.
- Revenue & Target Achievement
- Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Drive product adoption of EdTech platforms (learning apps, LMS, test prep tools, etc.).
- Team Handling
- Recruit, train, and manage sales executives or BDEs in the territory.
- Monitor team performance and pipeline.
- Institutional Sales
- Build partnerships with schools, colleges, and educational institutions.
- Conduct product demos and presentations.
- Market Analysis
- Track competitors and market trends.
- Plan sales strategies to expand market share.
- Client Relationship Management
- Maintain relationships with school management, principals, and decision makers.
- Experience: 4β8 years in EdTech/B2B or B2B2C sales
- Education: Bachelorβs degree (MBA often preferred)
