Job Description

A technology services organisation operating in Enterprise Software and Cloud-native Backend Engineering—delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems for enterprise and SaaS customers.

We are recruiting an on-site Java Backend Developer to join a hands-on engineering team in India focused on microservices, API design, and resilient production systems. Primary title: Java Backend Developer.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot for high-throughput, low-latency production environments.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs with clear contracts, versioning, and performance optimisations.
Implement persistence layers with Hibernate/JPA and author efficient SQL for relational databases.
Write unit and integration tests (JUnit/Mockito), perform code reviews, and uphold engineering standards and CI/CD practices.
Package services with containers and work with ops teams on container orchestration, deployments, and runbook-driven incident responses.
Diagnose production issues, tune performance, and add observability (logging, metrics, tracing) to improve reliability.
