Tender Executive manages the end-to-end bidding process, from identifying opportunities to final submission and follow-up. Key responsibilities include studying tender documents (RFP/RFQ/EOI), compiling technical and financial bids, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with internal departments, and using portals like GeM, CPPP, or E-tender for submission.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:Tender Identification & Analysis: Monitor tender portals (GeM, etc.) to identify relevant business opportunities and analyze requirements, scope of work, and eligibility criteria.Documentation & Submission: Prepare, compile, and submit complete tender, pre-qualification, and technical/financial bid documents, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines.Coordination & Communication: Liaise with internal departments (sales, accounts) to gather necessary data and manage correspondence with clients or authorities regarding queries.Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate records of all submissions, tender correspondence, and bid status.Vendor Management: Handle vendor registrations, empanelment, and coordinate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).Post-Submission Follow-up: Track tender results and assist in negotiation or finalization of contracts. Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience: 1–5 years in tender management or bidding, preferably in relevant industry sectors.Knowledge: Familiarity with e-tendering portals, procurement regulations, and government tender procedures (e.g., GeM portal).Skills: Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field. This role is essential for ensuring competitive and compliant bids that support business development.
