Job Description
Red Cedar TG is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and self-starting Technology Quality Manager to join our team in O’Fallon, IL.
Missing a certification for this position? Red Cedar TG will work with candidates that are otherwise fully qualified to help them obtain required certifications such as CompTIA Sec+, ITIL, CISSP, and other required certifications."
Compensation for this position ranges from $85,000 - $120,000 and is based on geographical location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Quality is at the core of how we operate, and this role ensures it remains that way. As our quality leader, you will shape and oversee a comprehensive quality assurance program that supports both company-wide operations and information technology projects. Rather than simply enforcing standards, you will build and sustain a culture where quality is intentional, measurable, and continuously improving.
You will establish and implement the strategies, policies, and standards that define how we deliver consistent, compliant, and high-performing products and services. By monitoring key performance metrics, conducting structured audits, and proactively managing risk, you will ensure our work aligns with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the expectations of our stakeholders. Your oversight will provide both accountability and confidence—internally and externally.
A central part of your impact will be supporting project teams in developing and implementing Quality Management Plans (QMPs). You will help define quality objectives, standards, and practical checklists that guide teams from planning through execution. At the organizational level, you will develop, refine, and maintain our ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it remains aligned with company priorities, customer commitments, and regulatory obligations. You will also manage and advance our CMMI framework processes, evaluating maturity levels and identifying meaningful opportunities for growth and improvement.
Serving as the company’s lead for external audits, you will represent the organization with confidence and preparation. Internally, you will conduct systematic audits to confirm adherence to QMS and regulatory standards, translating findings into clear, actionable reports for senior leadership. Through root cause analysis and corrective action planning, you will identify risks and drive improvements that enhance performance, reduce cost, and strengthen overall quality.
In addition to systems and oversight, you will act as a collaborative partner across departments—connecting project teams and support functions to ensure alignment on standards and timely resolution of quality-related issues. You will manage quality documentation and QA/QC records while leading staff training initiatives that reinforce quality awareness and shared accountability.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who understands that quality is more than compliance—it is a foundation for operational excellence and long-term success.
