Senior Accountant

Location: Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu (Candidates must be from the region or willing to relocate)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the finance and accounting function at our Virudhunagar manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, and ERP-based accounting systems. This role requires someone who can independently manage factory accounts while ensuring full regulatory compliance and financial discipline.

·       Oversee end-to-end accounting operations for the factory

·       Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records

·       Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

·       Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory taxation requirements and filings

·       Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory financial requirements

·       Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations

·       Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits

·       Maintain manufacturing cost records, inventory accounting, and production-related financial tracking

·       Provide financial insights and cost analysis to factory management

·       Ensure proper financial controls, documentation, and reporting standards

·       Minimum 10 years of experience as a Lead Accountant / Senior Accountant

·       Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory

·       Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems

·       Experience handling GST, taxation, and statutory regulatory filings

·       Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and compliance

·       Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English
