Technical Support Engineer – Solar & Hybrid Systems

Elum Energy is a fast-growing company based in Paris with offices in Morocco, South Africa, UAE, India, Singapore, Mexico & Brazil specialized in monitoring & control solutions for solar power plants. Elum technology allows for simple and optimized operations of rooftop solar plants or utility scale ground PV plants coupled or not with energy storage systems (batteries) and in some cases with existing thermal generation units (diesel generators).

Our reference customers are constructors (EPCs) and operators (IPPs) of solar power plants and/or energy producers such as TOTAL, ENGIE, GreenYellow, SolarCentury...

Our technology currently equips more than 1000 solar power plants in more than 40 countries, from 100kWp to 100MWp.

You'll be the technical backbone behind smooth project commissioning and complex deployments across India. You'll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams from different countries diagnosing issues, building relationships, and making sure every project lands well.

What you'll own

• Guide clients through pre-commissioning: technical assessments, third-party device integration, testing procedures, and documentation
• Support deployments end-to-end: diagnose integration issues, implement solutions, and keep projects on track without compromising quality
• Be the voice of the customer internally gather feedback, share lessons learned, and help make Elum's solutions sharper
• Collaborate across borders with teams in multiple countries to ensure seamless project execution

What you bring

• Strong knowledge of Modbus communication protocols (RTU and TCP)
• Experience in solar and/or hybrid power plants
• Basic Linux knowledge
• Full fluency in Hindi and English
• Sharp problem-solving skills, you diagnose fast and resolve with confidence
• 1+ year of experience in a relevant field
• Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
