Job Description

Navson Technologies is seeking an experienced and technically strong professional to drive business development activities for advanced scientific and research equipment across India.

The role focuses on generating, nurturing and technically developing qualified opportunities in research institutions, universities, R&D centers and industrial laboratories before commercial closure through authorized sales partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop qualified business opportunities in the scientific and research ecosystem

• Engage with professors, researchers, scientists and lab engineers to understand applications and requirements

• Conduct technical discussions, product presentations and demonstrations

• Support customers with application-level understanding and equipment selection

• Warm and nurture leads generated through digital marketing, references and outreach activities

• Coordinate closely with channel/sales partners for smooth opportunity handover and commercial progression

• Build long-term relationships with universities, R&D labs and institutional customers

• Maintain opportunity tracking and follow-up records

• Represent Navson Technologies during exhibitions, conferences, technical visits and customer meetings

• Continuously expand reach within semiconductor, nanotechnology, thin-film, materials science and related research domains

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in scientific / laboratory / technical equipment industry

• Strong technical communication and presentation ability

• Comfortable interacting with researchers and technically advanced customers

• Experience handling institutional or research-oriented customers preferred

• Comfortable with travel across India for demonstrations and meetings

• Self-driven and capable of independently managing opportunities

Ideal Background

Candidates from scientific instrumentation, semiconductor equipment, thin-film processing equipment, laboratory systems, materials science equipment or related technical product industries will be preferred.
