Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technical Sales Engineer role based in Krishnagiri . The Technical Sales Engineer will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their energy solution requirements, present suitable Li-ion and LiFePO4 battery and backup system options, and prepare technical and commercial proposals. The role involves providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including answering product queries, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with engineering teams to customize solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, supporting field trials, following up on leads, maintaining relationships with key accounts, and contributing to sales forecasts and reports. The Technical Sales Engineer will also gather market and customer feedback, assist in product improvement initiatives, and ensure that solutions are aligned with client needs and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to interpret customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Candidates should possess Sales and account management skills to drive lead generation, conversion, and long-term customer relationships.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, product configuration assistance, and coordination with engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, for customer interactions, presentations, and documentation.
- Relevant engineering background (e.g., Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related discipline) and familiarity with battery technologies or energy storage systems are highly beneficial.
- Experience in industrial, robotics, automation, or renewable energy sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Krishnagiri , travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, customer-centric approach, and proficiency with basic office and CRM software tools.
