Technical Sales and Marketing Specialist

Job Description
We're looking for a Technical Sales and Marketing Specialist who can bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and business value. You'll work directly with prospects and clients to understand their challenges, articulate how our technology solves them, and drive marketing initiatives that generate qualified pipeline. This role suits someone who's equally comfortable demoing software, writing a compelling case study, and closing a deal.
Sales
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification through close for inbound and outbound opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client technical requirements, business goals, and decision-making processes
- Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to different stakeholders (founders, CTOs, marketing leads, operations teams)
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and pricing in collaboration with the delivery team
- Maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM and report on forecasts weekly
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects over multi-touch sales cycles
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while protecting margin and scope clarity
Marketing
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across LinkedIn, email, paid ads, and content
- Write technical marketing content: blog posts, case studies, landing pages, sales decks, one-pagers, and ad copy
- Collaborate on SEO and content strategy to drive organic inbound leads
- Manage lead generation campaigns and track CAC, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution
- Coordinate with design, development, and content teams to ship campaigns on schedule
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and partner activities
- Maintain consistent brand voice across all customer-facing touchpoints
Cross-Functional
- Translate client feedback into product and positioning insights for leadership
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoff from sales to project kickoff
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
Required
- 3+ years in B2B technical sales, sales engineering, or product marketing (SaaS, agency, or software services preferred)
- Strong technical aptitude: able to understand and explain APIs, integrations, AI/automation, cloud platforms, and modern web stacks
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to write a clean landing page and run a polished discovery call
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets or driving measurable marketing outcomes
- Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, or similar)
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple deals and campaigns simultaneously
Nice to Have
- Background in agency or SaaS environments
- Experience selling AI, automation, or custom software solutions
- Familiarity with SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), or content-driven growth
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation, email platforms, and analytics tools
- Portfolio of written content, campaigns, or closed deals you can walk us through
