Leads procurement change management initiatives across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle by managing multiple projects, guiding supplier-related changes, and leading a team of specialists to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution of procurement updates while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Project & Change Management

Lead multiple procurement change management projects from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met.
Facilitate project planning with internal stakeholders to define scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and performance goals.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation using standard project management tools.
Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery.
Track project performance, monitor timelines, and communicate status updates to project sponsors and stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and timely execution of procurement attribute updates including RFQs, PO price changes, supplier master data updates, and supplier capability assessments.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Procurement Change Management Specialists.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
Assign resources effectively, guide team members through project stages, and provide developmental feedback.
Model strong leadership behaviors including integrity, resilience, and customer-centric decision-making.

Supplier & Cross-Functional Management

Guide supplier assessments, capability analysis, performance reviews, and compliance alignment.
Oversee supplier-side change initiatives including process improvements, compliance updates, and operational transitions.
Act as an escalation point to resolve supplier and cross-functional conflicts with minimal disruption.
Partner closely with procurement, finance, quality, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.

Knowledge Management & Continuous Improvement

Maintain project documentation, databases, and records.
Document and share supplier review outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices across teams.
Use analytical and quality tools to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or equivalent discipline.
Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field).

Certifications (Preferred)

PMP, CPSM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent leadership / project management certifications.

Skills And Experience

8–10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier management.
Proven experience leading teams in procurement change management or transformation roles.
Strong hands-on expertise in RFQs, PO price updates, supplier master data changes, and supplier capability assessments.
End-to-end experience with Source-to-Pay processes including supplier onboarding, contract management, and purchase order lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage supplier relationships effectively.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
