Team Lead Architect- Technical

• Role Description The Technical Architect Team Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Heading a team of Architects will manage 5-6 projects from schematic to implementation on site.

• Responsible for all technical delivery of projects involved up to project execution
• Intellectual updating of global projects to team members in order of relevance to the work in the studio
• Must have experience and capability in delivering independently designing and executing projects.
• Monitoring and checking the quality of drawings. Technically strong in detail designing and site execution.
• Capturing design suggestions given by Principal Architect and converting them to effective technical formulation and design development strategies.
• Must have worked in organization adhering to system and process. Must have experience to deliver projects under a structured SOP.
• Experience with BIM 360 is an advantage.
• To understand and practice the core values of the practice.
• Flexibility in exploring new design directions
• Engaging to minimize critical path impact on overall schedule of tasks
• Clearly and concisely communicate with both internal team members and consultants throughout project duration regarding design development, project execution and follow through.
• Will drive the learning initiative of the team

Software Skills:

Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3Ds Max, V-ray, Lumion, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, parametric modeling (Rhino & Grasshopper - preferable)

Experience and Attributes:

• Architect with 12+ years of experience working in a design consultancy or design lead Architect office.
• International work experience preferable.
• Strong design and commercial skills – ability to win work and oversee delivery.
• Must be an effective team player. Excellent in handling Client meetings, presentation and report writing skills
• Experience of interpreting and understanding local rules, regulations and design guides across the region
• Appreciation and working knowledge of sustainable design techniques and solutions
• Strong graphics and rendering skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Qualifications:

• B. Arch. from reputed institute (M. Arch. candidates encouraged to apply)
• Member of recognized professional institution
• Chartered/Certified or equivalent
• Proven experience in similar leadership role
