Teacher – Primary Hindi
Purpose of Role
The purpose of the Primary Hindi Teacher’s role is to promote proficiency in the Hindi language and appreciation of its literature and culture among students. The teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum standards, assess students’ progress, and support their language development in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. The role also involves fostering students’ cultural understanding, encouraging effective communication skills, and nurturing a love for the language as part of their overall holistic education

Teacher – Hindi - Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi language lessons (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments as per curriculum.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Support and mentor students with learning gaps or special needs.
- Promote Hindi literature and heritage through activities and events.
- Organize and guide students in debates, recitations, drama, and cultural programs.
- Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents for integrated learning.
- Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings for professional growth.
- Maintain student records, discipline, and adherence to school policies.
- Master’s degree in Hindi
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong command of spoken and written Hindi.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans and creative teaching aids.
- Patience, empathy, and ability to handle diverse learners.
- Collaborative mindset to work with peers, coordinators, and parents.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office, digital tools for teaching).
- Prior teaching experience of 2 to 4 yrs in Hindi language at school level preferred.
