Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join our Rating Operations team. As an Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the analytical team in delivering high-quality rating services to our clients. You will be responsible for stakeholder management, data mining, process adherence, and analytical support, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve internal processes and increase value proposition.


Key Responsibilities:

1.      Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate with business teams to deliver various reports and analytics
  • Develop a deep understanding of business deliverables and identify areas for improvement
  • Engage in regular dialogue with stakeholders to increase value proposition and improve process quality

 

  • Data Mining and Analysis:
    • Extract relevant data from newspapers, periodicals, the internet, and industry/company reports
    • Support the analytical team in creating draft notes and ad-hoc data research

     

  • Process Adherence and Quality:
    • Ensure adherence to set processes and timelines
    • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in own work

     

  • Analytical Support:
    • Support analysts in performing basic quarterly financial analysis and extrapolating financial performance under supervisor's guidance
    • Develop a basic understanding of rating principles and methodology to engage in analytical discussions with internal stakeholders

     

  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes through automation and application of internal AI apps
    • Collaborate with the team to implement process improvements

     

    Skills Required:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts
    • Ability to understand and mine data from annual reports
    • Positive attitude with qualities of a team player
    • Ability to take ownership and execute tasks independently
    • Process orientation and attention to detail
    • Working knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
