Role Overview

The Supply Manager will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling delivery partner (rider) supply across cities for Trun Network. This role is critical in ensuring adequate rider availability, onboarding quality, fleet productivity, and supply stability to meet growing order demand.

The ideal candidate should have experience in hyperlocal logistics, quick commerce, food delivery, or mobility operations with strong expertise in rider acquisition, vendor management, and city supply planning.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Creation & Rider Acquisition

• Build and scale rider supply across assigned cities/zones
• Develop rider acquisition strategies through field teams, vendor partners, referrals, digital channels, and manpower agencies
• Ensure sufficient active rider availability during peak demand periods
• Create hyperlocal supply plans based on order density and demand forecasting
• Drive onboarding campaigns for full-time and gig delivery partners

Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage manpower vendors and rider sourcing agencies
• Negotiate commercials and payout structures with supply partners
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and rider quality metrics
• Expand strategic manpower partnerships for rapid city scaling

Rider Lifecycle Management

• Oversee rider onboarding, documentation, training, and activation
• Ensure KYC, compliance, and verification processes are completed
• Improve rider retention and reduce supply churn
• Work closely with operations teams on rider engagement and incentive programs

Supply Operations & Planning

• Monitor rider utilization, login hours, order acceptance, and fulfillment rates
• Identify supply gaps and deploy corrective actions quickly
• Coordinate with city operations and control tower teams for real-time supply balancing
• Ensure smooth onboarding and ramp-up for new cities and new client accounts

Data & Performance Management

• Track KPIs including:
• Active riders
• Rider utilization
• Rider retention
• Cost per onboarding
• Fulfillment rates
• Peak hour availability
• Supply SLA adherence
• Prepare weekly and monthly supply reports and forecasting dashboards
• Use operational data to optimize rider deployment and acquisition efficiency

Preferred Candidate ProfileExperience

• 4–8 years of experience in:
• Hyperlocal logistics
• Quick commerce
• Food delivery
• Mobility platforms
• Last mile operations
• Prior experience with companies such as:
• Shadowfax
• Loadshare
• Pidge
• Zomato
• Swiggy
• Zepto
• Similar logistics or gig economy platforms

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of gig workforce management
• Expertise in rider acquisition and onboarding operations
• Vendor and manpower partner management experience
• Strong analytical and operational planning capabilities
• Ability to manage high-growth, fast-paced operations
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with data dashboards and operational MIS

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Operations, Logistics, Business, or related field
• Experience in multi-city operations scaling preferred
• Exposure to ONDC ecosystem or hyperlocal delivery operations is an advantage
