We are looking for Supply Chain Risk Manager for GS Procurement to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to “Director, Procurement Excellence”.
Purpose Of The Position
Contribute to a successful supply chain by ensuring that risks are identified, assessed, monitored and mitigated.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that risks are considered and controlled by Global Supply.
- Provide tools and support to Global Supply for an efficient and aligned risk Management.
- Support the development of strategies to reduce or eliminate risks.
- Monitor and analyze global risk that may impact supply chain operations.
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
- Lead business continuity planning and crisis response simulations.
- Govern and develop practices to ensure internal and supplier cybersecurity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed risk management into supply chain design and operations.
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical supply chain risks.
- Act as the central point of contact for supply chain risk matters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams.
- Deliver training and awareness programs to promote a risk-aware culture.
Knowledge and skills:
- Experience from and understanding of supply chain processes.
- Strong decision-making skills under uncertainty.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proactive and resilient in managing crises and unexpected disruptions.
- Approaches problems with a data-driven mindset.
- Builds strong relationships to foster a risk-aware culture.
- Adapts quickly to changing circumstances
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Risk Management or Supply Chain, or similar competence acquired during career.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management and risk management
- Experience working in global and complex supply chain environments.
