Summer Business Operations Contractor
Actively Reviewing the ApplicationsFor Goodness Sake
Job Description
About For Goodness Sake
For Goodness Sake is a research-driven company creating evidence-based resources that help people strengthen intimacy, confidence, and connection. We study what has too often gone unstudied and share those discoveries in ways that strengthen connection and well-being.
We work with researchers at Indiana University, Yale, and other leading universities. Our studies include large-scale interviews and nationally representative surveys that uncover patterns in how people create closeness. We publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, then bring them to life through resources that are warm, welcoming, and radically honest.
Our flagship resource, OMGYES, demonstrates the power of this approach. More than 10,000 clinicians recommend it and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has approved it as a patient resource. We're expanding this model to new brands, including The Glows, with more to come.
About the Engagement
We're looking for sharp, self-directed problem-solvers to contract with For Goodness Sake for summer 2026. These are high-ownership, output-driven engagements spanning marketing, customer experience, and social media. You'll rotate workstreams with your counterpart, contribute to real campaigns and real customer relationships, and leave with a portfolio of work you actually built.
This is not a hand-holding situation. We move fast, we trust our people, and we want you to make things better than you found them. You'll work independently, deliver against agreed-upon weekly outputs, and bring your own creative judgment to how you get there.
Who You Are
Solution-oriented. When something doesn't exist yet, you build it. You don't wait to be told how.
AI-fluent. You're already using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or similar in your daily workflow. Bonus points if you can teach us something new.
DTT (Down To Try). Never done something before? Neither has anyone else the first time. You're willing to dig in, iterate, and improve.
Continuous improvement. After every project, your first question is: how do we do this better next time?
Truly independent. You're given a brief and a deadline. Everything in between is yours to own.
