Job Description

KGDC Enterprises LLP is a fast-growing Solar EPC company executing residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop projects across Odisha and Jharkhand.

Under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, we are scaling our Residential Solar vertical across Odisha and building a structured, high-performance direct-to-consumer sales engine.

We are now hiring a State Head – Residential Solar (Odisha) to lead this expansion.

This is a build-and-scale leadership mandate.


🌞 Role Overview

The State Head will own the complete residential solar business for Odisha (3KW–10KW segment), including:

  • Statewide direct sales strategy
  • Field team expansion
  • Revenue ownership
  • Funnel discipline and CRM governance

Solar background is not compulsory.

However, experience in high-ticket direct consumer sales is mandatory.


⚠️ Important:

We are not looking for Channel Sales Managers or purely distributor-led sales profiles.

This role requires hands-on experience in managing direct-to-consumer field sales teams closing high-value transactions.


🎯 Mandatory Background

Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following sectors:

  • Fintech
  • Telecom Distribution
  • BFSI / NBFC
  • Insurance
  • Microfinance
  • Consumer Lending
  • Large Field Sales Networks


Applicants must have:

  • Built and managed district-level or state-level direct field sales teams
  • Opened and scaled new territories
  • Delivered aggressive revenue targets through direct selling


Profiles primarily focused on dealer/distributor channel management without direct consumer sales exposure will not be considered.

  • Lead residential rooftop solar direct sales across Odisha
  • Recruit, train, and manage Territory Managers and Sales Executives
  • Build structured on-ground lead generation mechanisms
  • Drive strict CRM discipline and pipeline visibility
  • Improve booking-to-installation conversion efficiency
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly installed capacity targets
  • Coordinate with financing partners and DISCOM ecosystem
  • Monitor cost per acquisition and team productivity

  • 8–10 years of sales leadership experience
  • Strong exposure to field-intensive direct sales operations
  • Proven team-building and execution capability
  • Operational discipline and data-driven mindset
  • Comfort working with CRM systems and performance dashboards
