Sr.Backend Engineer -(Javascript,React,Node )

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join the engineering team in Chennai.

You will work closely with the CEO and Head of Engineering, owning core backend systems and influencing key technical decisions.

This is a work-from-office role based in Chennai.

Candidates must be based in Chennai / Tamil Nadu / South India, or willing to relocate to Chennai.

• Own and build critical backend services used in production
• Work directly with leadership on architecture and implementation
• Build and scale applications using Node.js and modern web technologies
• Collaborate with mobile, UX, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Create reusable backend components and services
• Improve performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of the platform
• Take features from design through deployment and production support

• 6–8 years of hands-on engineering experience
• Very strong JavaScript experience, especially in backend development
• Proven experience building production backend systems using Node.js
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of features or services
• Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
• High sense of accountability and pride in quality work

• Competitive compensation up to ₹25 LPA, aligned to the Chennai market and role scope
• This role is ideal for engineers currently in the ₹18–23 LPA range looking for higher ownership, visibility, and long-term growth
