Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret storyboards outlining service procedures to design immersive and interactive 3D experiences.
• Optimize 3D CAD models to improve the performance and efficiency of holographic experiences.
• Create and process animations using appropriate 3D software tools.
• Develop and manage content, including 3D assets, for XR devices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across regions to ensure timely progress and delivery of training experience.
• Manage workload and priorities independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with peer developers to share knowledge and understand workflows and processes.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Lead or Manager within agreed timelines.
• Innovate and propose improvements to existing workflows.
• Actively participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and team collaboration.
• Provide weekly status updates to the Manager or Division Owner.
  
  
  

Required Tools Proficiency

Experience with any of the following tools (or similar) is crucial:

• CAD & 3D Modeling: Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, PiXYZ
• Illustration & Animation: 3D Studio Max, Maya, Creo Illustrate, Blender,
• AR/VR Development: Vuforia Studio, Unity, Microsoft 365 Guides, unreal
• Hardware: Any AR/VR wearable devices
  
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 4–9 years in AR/VR design or related field.
• Hands-on experience using CAD applications and developing 3D assets for XR and desktop applications.
• Familiarity with creating interactive experiences and optimizing models for performance.
